The Atlanta Film Fest had its holiday party last night. One of their board members, Candace, was holding Gustav and she casually said "if a baby smiles in his sleep, that means that angels are watching him." I didn't think I heard her correctly so I asked her repeat it. She said it was an old Southern saying.
What she said really moved me. It was just earlier in the day that I was thinking about my parents and wondering how they would have been as grandparents.
