On the way to the vet, we told Pixie some of our favorite memories of her:
- her first "mother" wanted to adopt only Pixie, but then Chloe started crying for Pixie so both had to be adopted; it was the start of Pixie's role as Chloe's protector.
- Pixie had lived in Hawaii, Maryland, California, and Georgia - she was a well-traveled cat.
- Trin was her true love. Pixie would stretch out on Trin's chest and just drool on her. If Gabe came near, Pixie would hiss at him.
- About the hissing - she hissed and scratched at anyone who wasn't Trin. Actually, according to Gabe she was nice for only about 20 minutes per day.
- Gabe had a lot of respect for her because of her loyalty to and protectiveness of Chloe and Trin.
- She was a princess with her beautiful eyes and coat. She was also very proud of her looks.
- During Trin's pregnancy, Pixie was like Trin's shadow following her around everywhere and sleeping next to her or by her head.
- She will always be remembered and loved.
