Well, Gustav is finally getting over his jet lag and sleeping through the night, more or less. He still wakes up at around 3am and fusses for a bit. I think it's because he's not used to sleeping with us. When he was first born, he could only sleep on us. Now he's used to falling asleep on his own in his own crib.
Gabe's theory about why Gustav keeps waking up at 3am is that he's so eager to tell us everything that he's seen, heard, and learned about. He can't wait to wake up to tell us his news. So according to Gabe, he gets into Gustav's frame of mind and gently reassures him that we can't wait to hear all about his news...in the morning. He comforts Gustav until he goes back to sleep again. And Gustav wakes up happy later in the morning.
