We had a nice and relaxing time in Maryland. For once we didn't drive up through the night after work because I was just too tired. We left Atlanta on Thursday afternoon and got to my uncle's very late at night.
On Friday we took a chance and drove into the city. We were warned about the traffic because of the Grand Prix but it was fine. We took Gustav to the B&O Railroad Museum, and it was also my first time. He loved it and didn't want to leave.

Afterward we came home and met my aunt and we all went to feast at a Thai restaurant. After dinner, we took Gustav to Target so he could pick out a toy. He had been wanting Khun Yai to buy him Finn McMissile for the longest time but when we got there, he selected a $1 matchbox car and couldn't be convinced to get anything else. My uncle ended up getting a monster truck for him. In the car on the way home, he wailed "I want Finn McMissile!"

Gustav said he wanted to sleep with Khun Yai and Khun Dta so all three camped out on airbeds in the living room, and Gabe and I settled in with season 5 of Dexter.

On Saturday my uncle went to work so my aunt and I took Gustav shopping, and she got him his whole fall/winter wardrobe. He is one lucky boy:-) For dinner, they took us to this crazy super-sized Chinese buffet place. Hard to believe but us Asians were the minorities. There was a huge line and everyone from all walks of life were there. The food was crazy and they even had steamed crabs.
On Sunday we had breakfast at IHOP and then we went to Edgewater to spend the day with Uncle David and Aunt Sue.

Leslie and Jimmy drove over from Delaware and Namu and Nikhil joined us. We had a great time at the pool, where Gustav showed off his swimming skills. Later we enjoyed steamed crabs. Gustav is a true Marylander and loved it!

On Monday it was time to leave. About a half hour into the drive, Gustav wailed "I want to play with Khun Yai!"
