Easter

We had such a great weekend! On Saturday we made cookies and then had our neighborhood Easter egg hunt. The weather was drizzly, but the kids and adults still had a lot of fun. Over and over I see how fortunate we are in our neighbors.

On Sunday, we dyed eggs with Mema and then our neighbors the Woodalls invited us for lunch. Dawn took the opportunity to set out all the fine china and silverware, even for the kids! I'm so glad our kids behaved reasonably well and didn't get up from the table like they do at home or spill anything. Greta did spill a little beet soup on her white dress but it was minor.

Leslie came to lunch with us and got to talk to Dawn, who's been in the oncology field for 15 years (sales) and knew all of Leslie's doctors. Melissa, her sister, gave Leslie a prayer line number to call. It was a good experience for Mema!

Paula, Mike, and the kids came over at three for an early dinner. Gustav and Ellie are so funny. It's 50/50 between fight and friendship. Yet all week long after Ellie left, Gustav kept telling me that he wanted Ellie to live with us "one thousand one thousand one thousand" days.
