Gustav's first day at RKLLC was on February 2, 2009, and he graduated from PreK on May 22, 2014. His two teachers, Kellie and Jennifer, were incredible and we were very lucky to have them this year. Kellie was all extroverted, sparkly, and enthusiastic. Jennifer was quiet, calm, and perceptive. In fact, I had written a heart felt note to them for teacher appreciation week, and Kellie came up to me to tell me, with tears in her eyes, how meaningful my words were to her. She said she was going to keep my card forever to remind her why she was a teacher.
At the Garden Party, Gustav led the procession. When I asked him why he was first, he told me it was because he was so good. He is still so shy and didn't sing Time to Go at all, even though he practiced so much and Jennifer tried to coach him from behind. My favorite part though was probably PS2's performance of Gangnam Style.
I'm really going to miss these special friends. So many have been together since the infant (Graham, Kai, Addi, Zoe, Case, Anafi, Talia) and toddler days (Jack, Chloe, Elyse). They were a very special group.
