Gustav - End of Year Conference

We met with Ms. Luckhardt today and she said that he is a great kid. She mentioned that unlike other kids who may be advanced intellectually and slow socially, or vice versa, Gustav is well balanced. She credited it to our balanced approach to parenting.

She asked if we preferred a teacher for next year and if we wanted him and his BFF Days separated. I had no idea so she said she would recommend Ms. Lakus and to separate the boys.

Something that he needs to work on is being more confident and taking on more leadership roles. She said he really knows what is right or wrong, but can sometimes be led astray by friends. She thinks with maturity, he may feel more confident about not following.

He is reading at a first grade level and is very sharp. She said to encourage his reading and writing over the summer.
