Gustav's best friend CJ is a spunky little black girl. According to them, she is his lawyer and he is her mentor.
The day after the election she texted him to tell him about President-Elect Trump. At school, she told him that she was afraid he was going to send her away because she is brown. He told her that she was born in the US so she will be safe. That and her grandparents were in the military.
Gustav is also worried about the Fugees, the children that Gabe works with. He's so afraid Trump will send them away.
