Christmas this year was a very low keyed event because no one was very much in a celebratory mood. The end of the year kicked our butts with the nightmare tenant issue in Delaware and the long drawn out eviction process.
Zak and Tess came and we had a quiet and traditional turkey Christmas Eve dinner. The Combs joined us on Christmas Day for our traditional Chinese dinner.
Presents were simple this year with the biggest gift a Nintendo Switch for the kids.
We accomplished everything on my to do wish list:
- Singing Christmas carols
- Going to see movies
- Baking cookies
- Skating
- Playing games
The thing that the kids were most excited by was the new tradition of playing a game on Christmas Eve and the winner gets to open up one present.
Not my most favorite Christmas but at least we survived 2018!
